The political changes in Bulgaria in 1989-1990 made it possible for economic activities such as private property purchase, sale, property leasing and real estate management.

Prior to these political changes we were state-employed lawyers. In 1990 alterations in legislation made it possible for us to open our own private legal practice which we established in 1991. A number of our original clients were some of the first real estate companies in Varna.

Working with these clients, providing legal advice and consultancy we realised that they did not possess the necessary education, training, qualifications and experience, their sole aim was not to provide a quality service to their clients but to make fast money in the burgeoning free market.

Based on this experience we formed the idea of combining real estate and legal work in one office. Anybody who has either bought or sold a property knows the importance of the real estate agents and the lawyer working closely together. In the summer of 1995 we established “Atrium” with the purpose of providing our clients a one stop all round real estate and legal service.

Our highly experienced team is extensively educated and qualified in international real estate management and other related business specialisms and they compliment the high calibre lawyers enabling us to complete the sales or purchase transaction maintaining a single point of control and achieve a quality service for you.

In the spring of 2001 against strong competition with many other Bulgarian real estate companies Atrium was one of two companies, which participated in the Channel 4 television programme “A Place in the Sun”.

This was shown on British television in August 2001 and started the British interest in “house hunting” in our country, but of course the properties were a lot cheaper then. Now our foreign clients are predominantly from the United Kingdom, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, Israel and Switzerland.

We maintain our quality of service by only employing professional and qualified staff who shares our vision for providing a quality service to our clients.

We do not employ other people such as agents to carry out our services, we do everything ourselves in house.

Our aim is to provide the best real estate and legal services to our clients. We do this by constantly monitoring the quality of our services against others in the market adopting best practice so that our services are so perfect that if we were the clients, we would choose Atrium over our competitors.

We also achieve this by treating all our real clients as if every one of them is our first and only client. This individual approach ensures that we provide a service that exceeds client expectations, as we believe that a satisfied client is the best form of advertising.
